Taking Out The Competition

Dee Dee Rinker

The weather was perfect for the 13 mile Prologue today in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan from the Anne Osborn Park back to the Kewadin Casino Resort for the official start to the 2021 Motorcycle Cannonball. Buck’s Indian of Romney was ready and enjoyed the day ending with 83 of the 88 riders in a tie for first place.

At the park, waiting on official start …

Always a photo bomber in this group🤪

Everyone checking in at the Casino for score

Then back to the pits for evening maintenance. Bree got a new front hollow axle and the guys fueled up.

And anyone who knows Steve is cringing as much as he was at the crescent wrench in his hand. But, when you forget the correct one, you make do, and suck it up! At least we didn’t have to go look for it🤣

What’s with the title you ask? Well, as Jared told JJ, “it’s not everyday you see a Henderson fall into a JD, fall into an Excelsior. But the good news was that no t-shirts got hurt!” Go to the Motorcycle Cannonball Facebook page to see the video Jared posted. Only day one, and three more weeks to go!” Adventure awaits!

Steve is Buck's son. It is his passion for the bikes that has allowed the team to grow their collection to what it is today. He loves sharing his talents with his sons, Justin and Jared, almost as much as he enjoys sharing his love for the motorcycles with his 9 grandchildren.
