The ride today from Lake Havasu, Arizona to Palm Desert, California took the riders across the Mojave Desert. This is Jared's second time on a Cannonball to cross the sweltering heat of this Desert. He made all his miles and is geared up for the final short leg of the race tomorrow into Oceanside, California.
He says the bike is running great.
Thanks to Matt Miller for the video proving Jared's got his dad's mantra of "45 dammit 45" stuck in his head. Steve always says on these long rides, you don't have to go fast, you just have to go far! Almost there! Go #37! You got this!
