And the mad rush begins....

Dee Dee Rinker

With just over 30 days, the panic is starting to set in. Motorcycles are being ridden countless shake-down miles. The piles of "stuff" to pack are mounting. Spare parts are being gathered for that "just in case" senario of what might happen. Anticipation and excitement are building!

The border to border route, with a detour to the East Coast, has never been completed before. Will it be as challenging, as grueling, or will it be a walk in the park? Riders, from both the US and around the world, will assemble in Saul Ste Marie, Michigan for the official start on Thursday, September 10th, then travel to Myrtle Beach, SC and end up in South Padre Island, Texas on Sunday, September 26th for over 4,000 miles and sixteen days of routes through the back roads of our country.

We welcome you to follow our journey here as I will be updating daily on how Buck's Indian is accomplishing this ride. Three riders will represent Buck's Indian, Steve Rinker, Justin Rinker and Jared Rinker, all on Indian 101 Scouts. Steve and Jared are riding 1928's while Justin will be riding a 1929. They will be joined by several other Indian 101 riders this year and all the Indians will be on the warpath for success! Watch for them and cheer them on. Please join us at any of our stops along the way, we'd love to see you.

Shout out to the 7th graders at Romney Middle School in Romney, West Virginia, who will be following us on our adventure and mapping their way around the United States with us. We will try to send as many videoes and post as many pictures of the landscapes and points of interest along the way.

Let the fun begin.......

Steve is Buck's son. It is his passion for the bikes that has allowed the team to grow their collection to what it is today. He loves sharing his talents with his sons, Justin and Jared, almost as much as he enjoys sharing his love for the motorcycles with his 9 grandchildren.
