This sign sums up our day yesterday. We left Nakusp after a great night's sleep at the Leland Hotel, the oldest hotel in British Columbia and took the Needles ferry into Vernon. Another awesome motorcycle ride and ranked in the top ten in the world.
We arrived at Turtle Bay Resort and were welcomed and greeted by Shawn, Stu's son. We took our bikes to his shop and decided to chill for the rest of the day.
Stu took us to his house on the Okanagan Lake (which means Grizzly Bear) across the hill from the resort and we met his lovely wife, Shera-Lynn, who made us feel right at home. Thanks for the amazing hospitality!!!!
They think they're still riding their motorcycles.
After a great afternoon, we went over to the resort and took a pontoon
boat on the other lake to dinner.
Tomorrow we work on changing tires and servicing our bikes.
